Two people sustained personal injuries after a motor vehicle they were traveling in overturned on a road in Buena Vista Township, New Jersey.

The scary car accident went down a short time before 11:00 a.m. Two people were traveling in a car on Tuckahoe Road and headed into the heart of Buena Vista NJ when the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

After the accident, several passing motorists saw the car overturned on the roadway and dialed 911 to alert local law enforcement. The Buena Vista Police Department and New Jersey State Police immediately dispatched officers to the scene of the accident. When Buena Vista cops got to the area of the car crash, near the intersection of Tuckahoe Road and Oak Road, they encountered the overturned vehicle.

Two people inside the car had sustained physical injuries as a result of the auto accident. Law enforcement and emergency medical responders worked quickly to get the victims out of the vehicle. Once the passengers had been safely removed from the overturned car, emergency medical personnel briefly treated them at the scene before transporting them via helicopter to a local hospital for further medical treatment and observation. Thankfully, neither of the victims is believed to have sustained significant injuries in the crash; both victims were listed in stable condition and they are expected to survive their accident-related injuries.

While the car crash victims were being taken to the Atlantic County medical facility, NJ State trooper investigating the incident. At this time, authorities have not yet determined what might have caused the single-vehicle accident. If the driver of the car acted negligently in the moments leading up to the crash, it is possible that the injured passenger could file a personal injury lawsuit and seek damages for his injuries. Alternatively, if it is determined that the car accident was caused by a defective auto part, both injured parties could potentially file a product liability lawsuit against the car manufacturer.
